Chive blossom painting
The chives in our garden came back really strong from last year. I cut off all of the blossoms. We didn't want them to seed.
It's the thickest chutes that blossom. They're very sturdy and easy to hold. And they have great texture, don't you think? All those tiny furled petals.
I set the girls up at the table on the back porch
and they painted for over an hour.
Happily and messily and creatively.
No paintbrushes needed.
