After nine long days, M has returned from the longest business trip thus far of our parenthood. The girls are climbing all over him, and he's loving it. Nobody at all is climbing all over me, and I'm loving it. We did it; I did it. And now I'm going to melt on the couch or perhaps the carpet, because only desolidifying will be drastic enough to release the stress I didn't even know until 10 minutes ago I've been holding.

A big shout-out to Grams and especially Gramps, who, while not my beloved M, valiantly ensured that the noteverstill house stayed stocked in clean underpants and organic 2% for all.

And the whole reunited family is thrilled that M doesn't have to travel again for a while. As in, not until Wednesday. Well, it's something.

The early bird is an idiot

It's to dark to even see any worms, but one nutty child has been awake since 4:26 am, and the other woke up just a few minutes after that. Gahh. Pin It
